Kamazaki Reserve Single Malt

Japanese whiskies are gaining increasing popularity. They are mostly crafted in the Scottish style. They tend to lie somewhere between Speyside and Lowland and Speyside in style. Japanese whisky is on the sweeter side, with a gentle perfume and honey undertones. Prepare to discover subtle notes of sherry and flowers. Japanese whiskies are also somewhat somky and peaty, with a hint of Islay.

This Kamakazi offering is a real gem. Its golden in colour and contains a nose of strawberry, cherry and mizunara.
Prepare for a palette assault. Don't be surprised if you detect some raspberry, peach, coconut and vanilla, topped off with a clean hint of cinnamon. This single malt whisky ismatured in Mizunara casks, which adds fragrant oak notes.
