Château Cinsault 2016

Also known as Cinsaut, Cinsault grapes are planted throughout the southern France and Corsica regions. With their lighter skins and delicate aroma Cinsault is particularly suited to rosés and fruity, early-drinking red. Cinsault is used to add fruity and perfume tones to wines such as Corbières and Minervois. The variety is resilient well and also fares well in Northern Africa, Israel, Lebanon and South Africa. In the south of Italy Cinsault is known as Ottavianello.

Our Cinsault originates from vines planted in 1979. The selection has been vinified in stainless steel in order to preserve the vibrant fruit flavors. This young light red is almost neon with its bright red fruit, light tension, earthy tannins, topped with a crisp acidity.
